Creative Work

Learning through art, imagination and hands-on creativity to develop the child's personality.

A bilingual kindergarten in the Czech Republic, inspired by a unique Japanese approach to early childhood development.

Our nursery programme for children aged 12–36 months offers a warm, loving and secure start to early learning. In a caring, family-like environment, our youngest children feel safe to explore, play and discover the world around them.
Each day is filled with music, creative activities, sensory play and movement that support children's natural curiosity and development. Through play, songs, live music, crafts and guided activities, little learners develop confidence, coordination and early social skills.
Outdoor time is an important part of our programme. We walk to nearby play ground. As outdoor activities are the extension of the classroom, giving children plenty of space to move, explore and enjoy fresh air every day.
Children ages 3 to 5 work in smaller groups, allowing us to tailor activities to their age and individual needs.
Inspired by the best elements of Montessori, Masaru Ibuka and Outdoor Education, we create an environment that encourages independence, creativity and a natural love for learning. Children spend their days exploring nature, engaging in creative play and developing important skills through hands-on activities.
Just as important as learning is the sense of community we build. We support children in developing confidence, empathy, kindness and strong friendships, helping them grow not only academically but also emotionally.
Come visit us and discover a place where children feel safe, happy and inspired to learn.

KOI is a private children's centre and kindergarten established in the Czech Republic in 2016. We offer a bilingual educational programme inspired by Japanese approaches to early childhood development and adapted to the Czech preschool education framework.
Our philosophy is based on the understanding that the first years of a child's life are a unique period of rapid development. We therefore create an environment where children can naturally develop their language, communication, motor, musical, creative and social skills through play, exploration and everyday experiences.
The bilingual programme gives children the opportunity to experience and use two languages naturally in their daily activities. We believe that early exposure to languages, music, art and movement can support children's curiosity, confidence and openness to the world.
Our curriculum follows a carefully structured annual programme, with a new theme each month and weekly sub-themes. Through these themes, children develop independence, creativity, communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning.
Our educational programme is designed in accordance with the Framework Programme for Preschool Education of the Czech Republic, ensuring a balanced approach to children's overall development while maintaining the warm, child-centred atmosphere that has been at the heart of KOI since its foundation.
At KOI, we aim to give every child the opportunity to grow into a confident, curious, creative and independent individual — while discovering the joy of learning in two languages.
